INTERNATIONAL ATHLETES

GENERAL INFO

International athletes who do not reside in Italy may compete at the WNBF Italy IMPERIUM BATTLE – International Open Championship, which will take place on October 17, 2026, at the Palacongressi of Bellaria – Igea Marina (RN), Italy.

 

According to WNBF International affiliate rules, amateur athletes who do not have a WNBF affiliate in their country of origin or residence may participate in the international championship by purchasing a WNBF Italy Membership Card.

The cost of the membership card is:

• €100 from January 1 to April 30

• €130 from May 1 to December 31

​

If a WNBF affiliate is present in the athlete’s country, WNBF Italy must receive confirmation that the athlete holds a valid WNBF membership, and is authorized by their national affiliate to compete in the IMPERIUM BATTLE.

 

In this case, athletes will still be required to activate a special complimentary WNBF Italy Membership Card, reserved exclusively for international athletes, in order to complete the registration process.

Only after activating the membership card will athletes be able to access the registration section to sign up for the competition. The show registration fee is € 169.

BACKSTAGE PASS

Coaches or companions who wish to access the backstage area must purchase a backstage pass.

The pass can be purchased as an optional add-on during the athlete’s online registration (maximum 2 passes per athlete), or at check-in on the day before the competition. The backstage pass fee is €60.

DIVISIONS AND CLASSES

International athletes will compete together with Italian athletes who have qualified for the National FINALS, in all divisions: Men's Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Bikini, Figure, Fit Body, and Women's Bodybuilding. Each division may be split into multiple height or weight classes, depending on the number of registered competitors

SUPER PRO QUALIFIER​

The winner of any Open class with at least 8 athletes (5 athletes for Fit Body, Female Bodybuilding and Masters class), will be awarded a WNBF Pro Card.

 

Juniores and Grand Masters classes are excluded from this provision.

 

If an Open class has fewer than the required number of athletes, the class winner will still advance to the Overall. If the athlete wins the Overall, they will be awarded the WNBF Pro Card.

CROSSOVERS

Crossover between divisions/classes is allowed for up to 3 divisions/classes.

The cross-fee is € 60 for each crossover.
